My Gambling Den 21 Variety Game
by Gaven on November 18th, 2009
I have wagered on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
